Perspective Magazine

Perspective Magazine is a magazine for Yeshiva University's Stern College.

Perspective is a collaboration of ideas and feelings from individual voices on campus that come together for one mission: to uplift and entertain the student body during stressful times with articles written through a brighter, more positive lens!

Editor’s Letter: What’s in the Plans for Perspective 2018-2019?

“As we launch our first issue of the new year, I am confident that Perspective will grow and evolve to reach and relate to even more students.”

Some More Thoughts on Stern Dating Culture

“Just as it’s okay for you or someone else to be ready to date, it’s equally okay for you or someone else to not be ready, and no one should blame you or make you feel wrong for wherever you are on your timeline.”

Struggling with Semester Stress? Read This Now.

How many times have we said to ourselves recently “I just need to get through this week and then things will calm down?”

We broadened Perspective's brand to focus not only on positivity, but on open and honest discussion.

I aimed to break the unofficial vows of silence that students seem to take on "taboo" topics like mental illness, academic pressures, and social stress.

Seeing Perspective's success in classic article pieces motivated me to expand our content and begin writing quizzes to entertain our current readers in a different way, and to engage new audiences in Perspective.

As the incoming Editor-In-Chief of Perspective, I have continued to expand Perspective's content and brand to include the entirety of the millennial college experience in Stern. Videos, contests, comics, and more are on the way: our possibilities are endless,  our reader population is growing and changing, and so are we!

Perspective is more than a magazine; It's a movement.
